CHILD LEARNING I began to learn the importance of the mind,
body, spirit connection at a very young age. In 1970 at age 5, I was
enrolled in the first of many Martial Arts studios where I began to
learn about athletics, discipline, meditation and "chi" the
universal life force (the seeds of spirituality were planted!). At
age 12, my father taught me self-hypnosis and hypnotized me
regularly (I continued to use hypnosis for the next 30 years). A few
years later, at age 15, my father bought me a weight set. He showed
me how to shape and strengthen my body and how hypnosis could be
used for motivation to exercise (something I still do 27 years
later).
During those
early years I was also introduced to the idea of "Intuition".
Explained to me as a deep knowingness from inside, a feeling you get
usually in your gut, that should be listened to carefully when
making decisions. I remember plans being changed from time to time
when my parents got "a bad feeling" (a sixth sense was legit!). By
the time I hit high school, I was blending regular physical
exercise, self-hypnosis, meditation, logical thought and intuitive
feeling as a way of life. All the ground work was laid in my youth
for my mind to open later on in adulthood. |

ADULT EXPERIENCE
I have had a wide range of
employment experiences which include Inside Sales Representative,
Software Engineer, General Manager of a Health Club, Freelance Writer,
MC, Professional Model and Personal Fitness Trainer. During my career as
a Software Engineer I was almost completely focused on rational logical
analytical thinking. It's safe to say I applied
The Scientific Method
quite stringently in the workplace and to other aspects of my life. This
was all well and good until my now "computer-like" mind decided to
rarely shutdown and gifted me with severe chronic insomnia (didn't seem
like a gift at the time!). |

As an insomniac getting little or no
sleep at all, it's quite easy to slip into
Altered States of
Consciousness
and of
course I did for 15 years! While in these states I became very creative,
numerous solutions to issues came to me as did new ideas and
information. I began playing with
Self-Hypnosis
and
Meditation,
going under in self-hypnosis and then meditating or going under with
meditation then moving into hypnosis. Doing this for many years, I
became very effective and efficient, logical thinking and creativity
blended together perfectly, creative blocks were non-existent,
inspiration and motivation were unstoppable, and I was almost always
performing at peak athletic levels! Great right? Yes it was, however I
was paying little attention to my spiritual wellness or the needs of my
soul. Guess what eventually happened? BOOM! Total life collapse,
complete wipe-out, the "reboot" button had been pressed on my existence!
Death, divorce, financial destruction and depression. The only plus
being I was still breathing! Nonetheless, this was a profound spiritual
gift. I know your thinking "that's crazy" and at the time I really
thought it was the end, but it was really the beginning. I got back up
and if I can anyone can!

Spiritual crises arise (trauma as
described above) when your perceptions need to be realigned so you can
evolve and enjoy a better life. I had almost been completely swallowed
by the abyss. However, the gifts starting coming and my life started
moving in totally different directions. I had several verified "Peak
Experiences" as a direct
result of my
Spiritual Crisis
and I actually knew I was having a spiritual crisis before I even knew
what one was (I kept complaining that something spiritual was
out-of-balance in me). My peak experiences included a 15 minute
Divine Event
where could see, feel and hear unconditional love and bliss with such
power, clarity and deepness that my body and mind felt like they were
going to explode or implode (just an attempt to translate this
experience into words). This was verified by a
Western Master as
"Being touched by Spirit". On the opposite end of the spectrum was my
Void Experience, with
fear, terror and aloneness to the 1000th power, so horrible that it can
not be explained in words. It was the beginning of my egoic death and is
the place where Shamans go for a spiritual death and rebirth as I
learned from a Native American Master who explained what had happened to
me. As a result of these experiences I began deeply exploring
spirituality and quantum thought (which are really the same thing).

I began doing hypnotherapy sessions focusing on
spiritual matters with a doctor who was also a minister (he never told
me his faith) and it was unbelievable! I started to become very
interested Spiritual Wellness
(think of it as your power source) and my intuition nudged me to try a
number of different traditions and methods. All of which I provided me
with off the charts experiences! After Spiritual Hypnosis, the next
method that attracted me was the
Kabbalist ZOHAR (a series of books
written in
ancient Aramaic) scanning practice. It is used as a visual spiritual activator
and quickly brought me into altered states. I could feel the energy
shifting in my body (I even smelled flowers a one point, no there were
no flowers or flower-like scented items anywhere!). Still moving
forward, I discovered
Reiki. I went with some friends and did a
session with a Native American Master and was launched on a trip as if I ate a
handful of peyote! I was seeing colors (I'm quite color impaired) and
when I began being flooded with purple, the Reiki Master raised her
hands to expose her purple palms to my friends (she never had an
experience like this before). I also saw symbols, animals and things
that don't translate into words. |
 |
Next I was attracted to The Silva
Method and took my first course. I went into unbelievably deep levels of
mind during this course and by the second day I realized I was not
wearing my glasses. I had a terrible stigmatism my whole life and it was
gone (I never put my glasses back on ever again!). I began heavily
studying Silva and my intuition began to become more and more accurate,
I began to pick up accurate information from objects (psychometry)
during the seminar and I saw my first aura (energy field surrounding the
body). Now with much momentum I continued with Dowsing. I'm not sure if it was because of all
spiritual energy work I had done or all the mind training (probably
both), but it was quickly apparent that I could focus my thoughts
through the pendulum. I am literally able to move it anywhere I desire
without any physical movement on my part (telekinetics). I demonstrate
this ability all the time to prove the energetic power of thoughts. From
there I was entrained with Remote Viewing/Remote Influencing
programming. I sustained the deepest levels of
mind here and could continue to function at deep theta levels, bordering
delta (normally you'd fall asleep). I am able to do very effective
energy work at this level and go on wild mind trips (you must experience
it, can't be described in words). All of these incredible experiences
and others opened my mind and expanded my consciousness.

Although the
"Seeds" of an
Open Mind were planted in me as a child, all
of the above experiences were a very hard sell. I was an analytical
minded logical thinking engineer, I needed proof and I received it with
other skeptical people observing. My conclusions are that one must
consider the mind, body and spirit individually and as a functioning
whole when striving for self-improvement. If you neglect any of them
improvements will be slower, results more temporary and a spiritual
crisis will almost surely arise. |
PHILOSOPHY I
live in all worlds of thought and non-thought. I evaluate, ponder, feel,
allow and do the best I can to keep an open non-bias mind grounded in
the present moment. My awareness has led me to realize that there are no
boundaries. Your mind is forever expanding, your body is a reflection of
your mind’s intentions and your eternal spirit beyond thought is running
the whole show. You have all the power you need to create the life you
desire!
